This is my first attempt at a video. The video camera (Go Pro Hero3) was mounted on the right wing jury strut. My instructor and I flew 1.4 hours starting out about 0930 in cool calm air. Thirty minutes into the flight instruction the thermals started and the vultures were working their best to run into us. By the time we returned to Clifton Airport, Clifton, TX there was a direct crosswind out of the west. Bounced it a bit coming in but not too bad. The airplane is a 1942 Piper L-4B. It is the military version of the Piper J-3 Cub.
